About the Role:
Maza.tech is looking for a motivated Junior Odoo Developer with a solid foundation in Python/PostgreSQL and business logic (BIS background is a plus) who is eager to build a career in ERP development and customize Odoo modules.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Customize and develop Odoo modules, views, and reports (Python, XML, JavaScript).
* Integrate Odoo with third-party software and legacy systems (APIs, Webhooks).
* Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing Odoo implementations and performance.
* Understand business workflows (Sales, Inventory, Accounting, HR) and translate them into technical solutions.
* Collaborate with functional consultants, project managers, and the technical team to deliver client requirements.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
* Requirements:
* Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in Odoo Development or Python-based web development.
* Strong knowledge of Python, PostgreSQL, XML/HTML, and JavaScript.
* Good understanding of Odoo ORM, views architecture, and modules structure.
* Business acumen/background (e.g., Business Information Systems / BIS) is a strong plus.
* Problem-solving mindset, attention to detail, and willingness to learn continuous ERP standards.
* Strong communication skills to interact with team members and understand functional specs.
* Preferably based near Maadi / Cairo.
